The Dream is set to become a reality!
Samford Netball Club – Home Grounds
It is with great excitement that we, the Samford Netball Club Committee, inform the Samford Netball Club members of the progress with the Samford Parklands (CSIRO) development project. The council has recently passed the initial funding for work to commence on the site. The first stage of funding will enable the upgrading of the road, access to the site and 4 HARD SURFACE NETBALL COURTS WITH LIGHTS!!!!
We are so excited by the prospect of this project becoming a reality after so many years of discussion and lobbying.
The committee, lead by Jo Tsang (Business Development) is continuing to work with Councilor Bob Millar, the Council Project Management Team, Samford Tennis Club, Architects, suppliers and many others to ensure the dream becomes a reality for our 2009 season! The programme for Samford Parklands Stage 1A projects the clear intention for completion of the courts early next year! The clubhouse and amenities are presently included in a later stage of the overall project!
As you can imagine many previous committees have been involved with this development and we acknowledge their time, dedication and passion for this project.
We will keep everyone informed as the project moves forward, and hope you are all as excited as we are with the latest developments and progress.
