The Samford Netball Club's constitution is here.
A significant review of the constitution took place throughout 2011 and some key changes were made based on the recommendations from Netball Queensland, Constitutional Lawyers and our members.
Some of these changes include:
- Club annual membership has been introduced: membership is optional and is clearly defined in the new constitution. Membership grants the member voting rights. In 2012 the membership fee has been set at $5.00. Applications for membership will require approval, in line with the Objects of the Club as described on page 1, at management meetings.
- Classes of members: the various classes of membership have been redefined and now provide a consistent framework for all members.
- Voting: the voting options are now clear and precise and when coupled with the new membership classes makes this area far more defined.
